SkipTrace Data compiles and licenses consumer and property information for marketing use. If you are a consumer and you do not want your information included, you can tell us to stop — free of charge, and without creating an account.
Email info@skiptracedata.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Tell us which request you are making and include the full name, current mailing address, and any prior address from the last five years, so we can locate your records. Include a phone number or email address if you want us to search on those as well.
We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and take no more than 45 additional days.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly.
We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
To protect you, we match the details you give us against our records before acting. If we cannot match you with reasonable confidence, we will tell you and explain what else would help. Information you provide for a privacy request is used only to process that request.
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing for the browser that sends it. Because a browser signal cannot identify you across our offline files, submit an email request as well if you want your records removed everywhere.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, write to us again and say so — we would rather fix it directly. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision or to complain to your state regulator.
